RISE is accepting applications on a rolling basis for our research grant: offering financial support to organizations and researchers pursuing work that strengthens the science, safety, and future of compounded, personalized medicine.
About the RISE Research & Innovation Grant
RISE’s research grants are a significant step in our commitment to funding personalized medicine research. We review applications on a rolling basis, so there’s no deadline to work around — apply whenever your project is ready. Awarded projects receive financial support to pursue publication-ready science, applied innovation, or novel solutions to today’s most pressing compounding challenges.
What We Fund
RISE supports a broad range of research and innovation initiatives, including:
- Publication-oriented scientific research grants
- Innovation-driven development projects
- Thematic priority programs addressing critical gaps in compounding
- Open-topic proposals offering novel solutions to modern compounding pharmaceutical challenges
Who Can Apply
We welcome proposals from universities and research institutions, hospitals and health systems, compounding pharmacies, compounding pharmaceutical industry partners, research centers, and independent researchers, including students working with a faculty advisor. If your work advances compounding and personalized medicine, we want to hear from you.
What We Look For
To be considered for funding, proposals must meet the following standards:
- Patient-Centered — projects must prioritize patient outcomes and demonstrate clear educational value.
- Scientific Rigor — research must be grounded in sound methodology and conducted with the highest ethical integrity.
- Compliance — all activities must remain consistent with the legal, regulatory, and ethical standards governing nonprofit research organizations.

Applying is simple:

- Gather your required materials, including your CV or resume, a project overview, and a proposed budget.
- Submit your application through our online portal, powered by AwardSpring.
Review & Timeline
RISE accepts applications on a rolling basis so there’s no fixed deadline. Every application is reviewed by RISE’s Research and Innovation Committee, and applicants can generally expect a formal response within 60 days of submission.
