of compounding

OUR MISSION

RISE exists to advance compounding pharmacy by creating access to education and funding research in personalized medicine.

Our vision is to revolutionize healthcare by expanding access to compounding education and driving breakthroughs in personalized medicine through research—ensuring that every patient’s individuality is not only respected, but celebrated.

RISE Institute for Compounding exists to strengthen the future of pharmacy compounding through research, innovation, science, and education. Each of our pillars reflects a core commitment to building access, advancing knowledge, and supporting people who are shaping the field.

We invest in studies that advance the safety, effectiveness, and accessibility of compounded medications. By funding innovative research, we help accelerate new discoveries and ensure that patients benefit from evidence-based solutions.

Innovation

RISE supports forward-thinking projects that bring new ideas in compounding to life. From improving practice to developing tools that streamline patient care, we invest in resources that encourage creativity and practical problem-solving.

Science

Our organization is rooted in science. By promoting rigorous inquiry and supporting the translation of findings into practice, RISE strengthens the knowledge base that sustains compounding as a vital part of modern healthcare.

OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH PCCA

Championing Innovation in Compounding

RISE Institute for Compounding was founded with the support of leaders from Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA), whose commitment to innovation and education inspired the creation of an independent nonprofit focused on strengthening the future of compounding pharmacy.

While RISE is an autonomous 501(c)(3) public charity, PCCA has been instrumental in our launch — providing expertise, training resources, and early partnership support. PCCA remains a vital collaborator, but RISE’s mission extends across the entire compounding community. We now invite universities, corporations, practitioners, foundations, and donors everywhere to join us in building the future of compounding. Every contribution of time, talent, and resources fuels education, strengthens workforce development, and accelerates research — creating lasting impact for patients, families, and communities nationwide.
